Maybe I want to take a class

Maybe I am not so afraid anymore
Of people looking at me
Of people listening to what I say
Of people realizing I exist

Or maybe I am not afraid anymore
Of dissolving myself
Of becoming another thing
That a moment before I was not
Of not being
What a moment ago I was

Maybe I want to not just take a class
Maybe I want to live
